Dawyck Botanic Gardens - About 6 miles south-west of us, exceptional botanical garden with an award-winning visitor centre.  

Neidpath Castle - Peebles’ ‘local’ castle, about a 1.5 mile walk.  

Cademuir Hill Fort is an Iron Age Fort & is immediately (well a mile or two) behind our house & an amazing walk. Here’s some info about it:
